II. Submission

Photographers of 25 years old and under from all over the world can participate.

Categories:

Group A: targets at adolescents aged between 8 to 15 years;

Group B: targets at adolescents aged between 16 to 25 years.

Deadline:

Deadline: 24:00, June 30th, 2018 (GMT+8, Beijing Time)

Participants are recommended to submit their works via email to contest@g-photography.net

Please specify the author’s name, nationality, address, college or university, date of birth and passport number in the email.

Entrants can attach the information of the awards and honors they have won.

A number of experts from SRPOIA countries will be invited to judge all the entries on July 5th, 2018, as the first round of judging. Selected works from this division will enter the final judging, together with those from other divisions. The final results will be displayed on the official website of SRPOIA (Chinese and English), as well as Global Photography (Chinese and English)

IV. How to Enter:

Participants are recommended to submit their works via email to contest@g-photography.net.

Please specify the author’s name, nationality, address, college or university, date of birth and passport number in the email.

Entrants can attach the information of the awards and honors they have won.


V. Requirements for Entry Works

i.Content requirements:

No specific requirement for contents and themes. Works that express the cultural life, natural landscape, world heritage and local customs of Belt and Road countries are recommended.

ii.Submission requirements:

Each participant can submit at most 10 entries. (One single photo is deemed as one entry, and one series is deemed as one entry); each participant can submit at most 3 series; One series shall constitute no more than 6 photos.

Each entry work should be in JPEG format and not less than 6MB.

Additional instruction are required if post processing was used.

iii. No specific requirement for time of shooting, style and content.

iv. Digital manipulation such as brightness, contrast, levels, color balance, minor sharpening may only be used to optimize the image. Images that appear over-manipulated or distort the integrity of the subject will be excluded.

v. Please specify the title, time and location of shooting of each entry.


VI. Awards:

1."The light of Silk Road Gold Award (3 winners for Group A and B respectively)

Trophy, certificate, portfolio, competition souvenir medal and prizes (worth 5,000 yuan)

2. The light of Silk Road" Silver Award (5 winners for Group A and B respectively)

Trophy, certificate, portfolio, competition souvenir medal and prizes (worth 3,000 yuan)

3."The light of Silk Road Bronze Award (30 winners for Group A and B respectively)

Trophy, certificate, portfolio, competition souvenir medal and prizes (worth 2,000 yuan)

4."The light of the Silk Road" Excellence Award (60 winners for Group A and B respectively)

Certificate, portfolio, competition souvenir medal and prizes (worth 500 yuan)

5."The light of the Silk Road" Excellence Tutor Award (10 for Overseas Division)

Certificate, competition souvenir medal and prizes (worth 1,000 yuan)

6."The light of the Silk Road” Best Organization Award (5 for Overseas Division)

Award certificate, competition souvenir medal and honor title of "Silk Road Photographic Organization International Alliance Youth Photography Education Base" to organizations and training institutions with outstanding group participants.


VII. Notes:

1. The contest is FREE to enter.

2. The organizing committee reserves the right of explaining this notice.

3. If You have been selected as a finalist of the Contest, You grant to SRPOIA a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty free license in each entry throughout the world in all media for any use connected to the promotion of You the author and the SRPOIA event and/or competition, including but not limited to: display at a potential exhibition of winners, potential publication of a book featuring select entries in the Contest, publication in SRPOIA materials and/or online highlighting entries or winners of the Competition, and promoting the work of Global Photography generally without any remuneration being due.

4. Finalists must submit the RAW or original camera files by request. Failure in providing the requested files within granted time will be deemed as waiving all rights.

5. Content that is erotic, violent or against the law, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the religious practices are prohibited.

6. Upon submission, entrants acknowledge and warrant that the submitted photo(s) is/are original works created solely by the entrants and that the photo(s) do(es) not infringe on the copyrights, portrait rights, rights of reputation and privacy of the third party. The entrants are deemed to agree on all rules upon submission. In case of disputes resulting from violating the above warrants, the entrants must undertake all liabilities.
